Pull and Bear is a fast fashion and mass-market Spanish brand that belongs to the Inditex group, which includes brands like Zara, Massimo Dutti, Bershka, Stradivarius, and Oysho. However, the question you have is: where are Pull and Bear clothes made?

I bought many Pull & Bear clothes when I was a teenager, and I would say it was one of my favorite brands. Nowadays, I don’t have anything from the brand since they focus more on teenagers and young adults, and I prefer labels like Hugo Boss, Ralph Lauren, and Tommy Hilfiger.

To confirm, I have decided to review hundreds of product descriptions on the Pull and Bear website to verify if the brand lists where the products are made. I also visited two Pull and Bear stores in London and Napoli, checking multiple items. So let’s find out where Pull and Bear products are manufactured.

Where Are Pull And Bear Clothes Made?

Pull and Bear is manufactured in China, Bangladesh, Portugal, Laos, Myanmar, Pakistan, Turkey, Morocco, India, and Vietnam.

Where Are Pull And Bear Clothes Made

Pull and Bear doesn’t list where its products are manufactured on the product descriptions on its website. Was I expect for the brand to do it? No. I know most mass-market labels will not tell you where they manufacture because they don’t want you to know. However, its sister Zara lists all the countries in the product descriptions, which was quite surprising.

Other mass markets brands like H&M, Uniqlo, Abercrombie and Fitch, and Hollister also don’t tell you where the products are made in the product description. If you want to find out where Pull and Bear or any other mass-market label manufactures, don’t worry because you can check it on the product tag. This is because the EU and US legislation require the brands to tell the country of origin for any imported products regarding physical goods.

When checking Pull and Bear products in-store, I have to say that China, Bangladesh, and Pakistan were the top three manufacturing countries. However, I was surprised by how much Pull and Bear manufactures in Pakistan, which is not that usual compared to other brands. I could say I was surprised by the manufacturing in Portugal too, but considering that Spain and Portugal are neighbors, it doesn’t shock me.

The possibility of Pull and Bear manufacturing in more countries than I mentioned in this article is accurate. I have checked many different items and styles in-store, but other countries and stores sell various things that some stores don’t. What you find in a Pull & Bear store in London will differ from what you see in a Pull & Bear store in Napoli. So if you find a country in-store that isn’t on this list, don’t think it’s fake.

Are Pull And Bear Clothes Made In Spain?

I do believe Pull and Bear manufactures in Spain. However, I didn’t find any Pull and Bear products made in Spain when I was checking items in-store, and since its website doesn’t provide that information, it’s difficult to tell you more about it.

I say that because Zara manufactures in Spain, and the Inditex group has a few factories around Spain, especially in Coruña, where they have this big campus with different factories. Nevertheless, Zara clothes are more expensive than Pull and Bear, which justifies why they manufacture Zara in Spain in more quantity (because I still believe some Pull and Bear items are made in Spain).

Are Pull And Bear Clothes Made In China

Even if Pull and Bear manufactures a lot in China, the Spanish brand doesn’t manufacture heavily there compared to some other mass-market brands. I have found many clothes made in Pakistan and Bangladesh too in-store, and I was expecting a lot more made-in-China tags.

Usually, brands prefer China since the labor and materials are much cheaper there. Still, with the passing of the years, China is becoming more and more expensive, and alternatives like Vietnam, Bangladesh, and Pakistan are becoming more attractive to fashion brands. I guess even Turkey is becoming a cheaper option.

Are Pull And Bear Clothes Made In Portugal?

Yes, Pull and Bear manufactures some clothes in Portugal.

Are Pull And Bear Clothes Made In Portugal

Pull and Bear manufactures in São João da Madeira and in Carnaxide. The brand doesn’t have a factory there but uses two different manufacturing sites to produce some of its items in Portugal.

You have many luxury brands currently manufacturing in Portugal, like Moschino, Alexander McQueen, Balmain, and Givenchy. So it’s incredible to see a fast fashion brand also manufacturing in Portugal and maintaining its prices relatively low compared to those luxury labels.

Moreover, Portugal can also copy any production procedure easily, offering the quality benchmarks fashion brands often look for in a manufacturer partner. However, in-store I didn’t find as many items manufactured in Portugal as in most Asian countries.
